The real focus of our trip was to introduce Madelyn to her Great-Grandmother and celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a few lunch at the "Fruitlands", a family favorite, in the town of Harvard where Grammie grew up. We also played at her apartment every day until Madelyn's legs gave out from exhaustion every day. Now that she is walking, she does not want to stop and after 30-40 minutes they just turn to Jello and start giving out.

On Thursday we went to Sturbridge village. It's a historical town frozen in about the 1830's. People are all dressed up and you can wander around and watch a blacksmith make horseshoes and see what life was like back then.
